The sleepover is an integral part of a young girl's social life.
” LAL wrote this story on February 19 2010 at 19:50 (7:50 PM): Picked up my phone and read this message just before I was going to get ready to pack for a sleepover with my bestest friends!  Comments »

Do not fall prey to groupthink or the mindless crowd.
” TheArchitect wrote this story on February 9 2010 at 12:59 (12:59 PM): Wow, this message was generated exactly at the moment I was being pressured by three old friends to drink Tequila shots with them before riding a mechanical bull last night! Too bad SyncTXT was in night mode so I didn't get the message on my phone right then.  Comments »

3 day warnng, Here comes an earthquake!!!!
” Psientist wrote this story on February 6 2010 at 16:36 (4:36 PM): I have been involved in earthquake forecasting research for 30 years. I thought it would be fun to add an earthquake warning to my messages to see if it might work. On Feb 1, I received the message above. On Feb 4, there was a rare M5.9 earthquake off the coast of northern California. California only has one or two quakes of this magnitude per year.

M5.9 2010/02/04 20:20:22 UTC 40.412 -124.961 23.6 OFFSHORE NORTHERN CALIFORNIA

Loyalty
” jaw wrote this story on March 4 2010 at 17:52 (5:52 PM): So I am suppose to travel home tomorrow and meet a friend-of-a-friend. I texted my friend and asked if I should still come. As I was typing the message, I received this "Loyalty" message. Does it mean to be loyal to my friend and go or be loyal to the current friends that I have and not go? So interesting and cool! SyncTXT may not provide an answer but definitely helps you reflect!  Comments »

” jaw wrote this story on March 2 2010 at 17:55 (5:55 PM): Randomly thought about dancing Zouk at same time! If you haven't danced Zouk before, it is about close enough to being in love! =)  Comments »

a Large magnitude eq is coming in 24 hours
” Psientist wrote this story on January 11 2010 at 09:58 AM: I have been in the field of EQ forecasting for more than 25 years. So, I thought why not put a forecast message here? On January 7th at 15:52 according to the syncTXT web site (not sure what time zone) I received this message. On January 9 at 16:27 PDT a large and rare 6.5 earthquake occurred off the coast of northern California. The quake did not occur in the specified 24 hours, more like 48 or so, but it makes you think hmmmmm.  Comments »

Doing this could hurt your self
” Psylernaut wrote this story on February 12 2010 at 18:48 (6:48 PM): Received at the precise (to the second) moment I was watching a youtube video of a TV actor's recollection of a stunt he was performing going wrong. The moment the message was hit my phone was exactly as the video was playing the PARTICULAR stunt within the scene.  Comments »

She loves you!
” Psylernaut wrote this story on February 12 2010 at 18:56 (6:56 PM): Synctxt has a sense of humor. I received my message alert signal on my phone. Since I had received ANOTHER synctxt only 6 minutes previously, I assumed the new message must be from my significant other...nope...just synctxt having fun by making me think it was her, then giving it's opinion.  Comments »
